Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, LA Chapter member Jayson Chan (IG @emdeucee), who won a $50 Shell fuel card thanks to this picture of his Alpine White M2 with his Pomeranian pup sitting in the copilot’s seat.
“I love filling up with Shell for numerous reasons, in no particular order,” says Jayson. “Their V-Power gas has always performed consistently, even through high-rpm track duty; the stations are well lit and tidy, and they offer amazing discounts through grocers and their fuel-rewards program. Plus, they have stations located all over.”
Asked how he originally found out about the BMW CCA, Jayson commented, “I originally discovered the club when I took my first BMW (a 1997 E36 M3) in for service at an independent BMW specialist. The owner of the shop, John Handal, competes in BMW CCA club races and introduced me to the club. I joined because I enjoyed being a part of car communities, such as forums, local groups, and race-event organizations.”
Tell us more about your M2! “It’s a 2017 Alpine White manual Performance Edition—there were only 150 made in a lighter-weight configuration. The car includes double adjustable coil-overs, exhaust, manual seats, and other weight-saving features. I purchased it to enjoy on the weekends and to push at the track. It certainly does not disappoint!”
