Congratulations to National Capital Chapter member Abby Gonzalez, our latest Shell Fill-Up Friday winner! Abby’s post with her “Bumble Bee” E36 M3 filling up at her local Shell station has earned her a $25 gift card!
“I’ve been a member since 2016, but a BMW enthusiast for about fifteen years,” says Abby. “When I first started driving, my friends had E30s, E36s, and E38s, while I had a few late-’80s cars from another German marque. I’m now on my third BMW, with the ‘Bumble Bee’ M3 being my favorite of all of the cars I’ve owned! His license plate is BMBLBM3 and hashtag #🐝M3.”
Asked what her favorite thing about being a member is, she says, “The people. I’ve met so many of my closest friends from the BMW CCA. The events and perks of being a BMW CCA member are great, but the people are even better! The members I’ve become close with are like my second family!”
If you’re wondering what’s under the hood of her M3, she has a full complement of performance mods, including Bilstein Sport shocks, H&R Sport springs, a Conforti chip, Borla cat-back exhaust, Ground Control camber/caster plates, and a Racing Dynamics front-tower brace.
