Congratulations to Golden Gate Chapter member Patrick Geng, winner of this week’s $25 Shell fuel card with this photo of his Long Beach Blue BMW M2.
“Since a child, I have always been raised in a family focused on BMW,” says Patrick. “All my friends had a Camaro or Mustang posted on their wall. But for me, it was always an E30 M3. I always loved the M3 and dreamed of owning one. [The M3] was something new and amazing from BMW. When the M2 came out I wanted to be part of something new and amazing from BMW. ”
Like so many BMW enthusiasts know, the car is just as much about the community though. “It is a great conversation starter everywhere I go. It is also an amazing drivers car to drive on and off the track.” And of course, this includes the BMW Car Club of America.
“When I purchased my car they mentioned the BMW CCA and how it will be a great fit for me and what I wanted to do.” For Patrick, his favorite part of Club membership is attending events.
“[It’s] the atmosphere it has. The HPDE run by Golden Gate Chapter is also an amazing program that is both safe and a great way to learn more about your car and driving on the track.”
