Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, Florida Suncoast Chapter member Mark Williamson, who won a $50 Shell gift card thanks to this picture of his E46 M3 filling up at Shell!
“My car is a manual 2006 M3 with only 17,000 miles,” said Mark. “It only had 10,000 miles before I went on a bucket-list road trip to Monterey this year. My M3 is highly modified (too much to list) with turbos, TC Kline suspension, custom widebody, and rear-seat delete, and it has over 700 horsepower.”
Asked how he found out about the BMW CCA, he said, “Years ago, I saw an advertisement in a BMW magazine and also spoke to a member when my BMW was in for service, so I checked it out and joined. Initially, I joined for two reasons: the parts discount and the vehicle-rebate program. Then, after reading Roundel magazine from cover to cover, I was hooked, as it was very entertaining! To this day I still look forward to reading the magazine each month. The club also got me into attending BMW racing events, and I have been an avid attendee ever since. I drove my E46 M3 cross-country to attend Festorics and then to VIR for the IMSA corral the next week. Overall, the people I’ve met in the club are awesome!”
