Congratulations to last week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, Tarheel Chapter member Brian Marks, who won a $50 Shell fuel card thanks to this shot of his work wagon—which also happens to be an S54-swapped, M3-drivetrain-equipped E46 Touring. The car has had plenty done to it, and Brian has found it to be a suitable work and promotional vehicle for his business restoring leather interiors and furniture.
While Brian has used the M3-powered Touring in his experience as an accomplished BMW CCA driving instructor, he has also built some fairly incredible cars in addition, including an E39 540i M Sport Touring—yes, a real M Sport!—that was fully converted at one point into a supercharged S62-powered, six-speed-manual methanol-equipped muscle wagon.
No matter what exquisitely built car Brian happens to be driving or working on, we’re glad to see that he’s filling up with Shell V-Power NiTRO+, the official fuel of the BMW CCA. Congratulations, Brian—we look forward to seeing you at more events soon!
