Augusto Farfus finished second in Race One and Marco Wittmann finished fifth in Race Two when the German Touring Car championship series (DTM) visited Brands Hatch in the UK on August 11–12. It was the series’ first visit to the circuit since 2013.

Farfus, driving the #15 M4 DTM, scored his first podium finish in the series since 2016. Two additional BMW racers finished in the points on Saturday; Philipp Eng was fifth and Marco Wittmann was ninth. The win went to Mercedes’ Daniel Juncadella.

On Sunday, Wittmann finished fifth and Eng finished seventh. Farfus had to exit the race after his car was hit by Robin Frijns’ Audi, and the win went to Mercedes racer Paul Di Resta. No other BMW racers scored points in either race.
