IMSA has announced date changes for three events in the 2020 season. The Watkins Glen six-hour race, initially scheduled for October 2–4, has been moved to Labor Day Weekend, the all-GT car Lime Rock race, originally scheduled for October 30–31, will run on September 11–12, and the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca event, originally scheduled for Labor Day Weekend, will now run on October 30 through November 1. The changed Watkins Glen date avoids a clash with the SRO season finale at Indianapolis scheduled for October 1–3. The conflict would have affected several teams and drivers.
The IMSA season resumes at Daytona International Speedway on July 4.—Brian Morgan
