Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, Florida Suncoast Chapter member Chakravarthy Cuddapah, who won a $50 Shell gift card thanks to this picture of his Z4!
“The Z4 pictured in the post is my fourth BMW, we had two X3s and one Z4 before this,” said Chakravarthy. “I wanted the perfect BMW and took several days to configure this car online. I was torn between 35i and 35is. At that time, the 35is didn’t have style 293 wheels as an option and I wasn’t interested in aftermarket wheels. So, I had to settle for 35i. My daughter and I flew to Munich for European Delivery and picked up our Z4 in 2011. We drove across Germany to Paris, Lucerne, Frankfurt and then returned to Munich where we dropped the car off for shipping to USA. After a long wait, we picked up our car from Performance Center Delivery. Over the years, we’ve made great memories in our Z4. I’m proud to say, it is still in pristine condition.”
Asked how he discovered the BMW CCA, he said, “After taking delivery of our Z4 at BMW Welt, I was at our local BMW dealer, BMW Orange Park, to pickup some accessories and noticed a BMW CCA logo. Later, I looked it up online and joined the club. I wanted to meet local BMW owners and learn about their experiences, learn various BMW coding features, get great discounts (like Brooks Brothers) and receive the famous Roundel magazine.”
