If you’ve attended BMW CCA Oktoberfest in the past, you know that the combination of talented instructors and excellent race tracks make the O’Fest driving schools some of the most comprehensive and fun to attend, and this year at the 49th annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest, presented by Michelin, will be no different.

This year’s race track of choice is the Pittsburgh International Race Complex (PIRC)—in full, combined configuration. That totals a fantastic 2.78 miles and nineteen corners! This year’s Yokohama Tire Two-Day Driving School will be held Thursday, July 12, and Friday, July 13.

The track is fun, too, as Allegheny Chapter members can attest; BMW CCA Chapters have been using PIRC for years to host regional schools, and there should be plenty of expertise to help learn the circuit. For a better sense of the track layout, check out this video walk-through from repeat PIRC instructor Jack Neff.

We also know that you want to protect your weekend toy while on the track, and the BMW CCA’s partners at Lockton Motorsports are here to help protect that investment. As with your typical BMW CCA driving school, Lockton Motorsports offers HPDE insurance—that’s high-performance driver education, of course— to cover your car while on the track. Visit Lockton Motorsports to learn more.

After the PIRC driving event wraps up, enjoy the weekend at the PVGP festivities and take in the excellent vintage racing over at Schenley Park. What better way to end an incredible week?
