Henry Walkenhorst, Jörg Breuer, and Sami-Matti Trogen in the #35 BMW M6 GT3 won the GT AM class in Abu Dhabi in the final four-hour enduro of the four-race Asian Le Mans Series season. Car #35 had placed third in class in the Saturday race, and had placed first and third, respectively, in the two races run a week earlier in Dubai.
The second Walkenhorst M6 GT3, the #34 car driven by Nicky Catsburg, Chandler Hull, and Jon Miller, had a rough weekend in Abu Dhabi, finishing fourteenth and eleventh respectively in the Friday and Saturday races. The three drivers had finished third in the first race in Dubai and had retired from the second race after an incident.—Brian Morgan
