The BMW CCA Board recently approved the nomination of Patroon Chapter’s Bob Martin as North Atlantic representative to the Driving Events Committee. He will assume the position immediately, and will work with retiring NADEC Bill O’Neill during a transition period. Bill has served the region admirably for many years and deserves our gratitude for his distinguished work.
Bob joined the BMW CCA in 1997 and was driving a 535is at the time. He attended numerous driving schools and became an instructor in 2003. Bob is an ITS graduate, and he has also been a club racer for 20 years. He has previously competed in J Stock and J Sport, and is currently competing in M3T. He still instructs when not racing and uses a second K Prepared car for instructing duties. He has also served as Patroon Chapter DEC.
Bob is well-known in race and HPDE paddocks in the North Atlantic Region, and we thank him for accepting this important role.
