Greer, S.C. (2/25/2025) – The Ultimate Driving Museum is thrilled to announce a captivating exhibition titled ALPINA: 60 Years of Excellence. This extraordinary showcase will take visitors on a journey through the illustrious history of ALPINA, from its humble beginnings in a backyard workshop in Kaufbeuren, Germany, where it developed a power-enhancing multi-carburetor unit for the BMW 1500, to the sophisticated ALPINA models produced today alongside BMW automobiles. Set to run for eight months from May 16, 2025, to January 17, 2026, the exhibit will feature 25 remarkable automobiles, including motorsport legends and rare special editions, alongside hundreds of period art pieces, enthusiast loaned items, and memorabilia. Commemorating ALPINA’s 60th anniversary, this full-spectrum experience will include an engaging exhibition, exclusive merchandise, a series of immersive on-site events, all celebrating the prestigious legacy of ALPINA. Join us in honoring six decades of engineering prowess and luxury in automotive design.
“The cars chosen for the ALPINA: 60 Years of Excellence exhibit are truly remarkable. The enthusiasm of ALPINA owners is infectious, and through this exhibit, we aim to showcase the class and exclusivity that these owners have so generously shared.” says Bruce Hazard, Head of the Exhibit Committee, and Archival Trustee for The BMW CCA Foundation.
