If you’re a BMW CCA member traveling to Europe in mid May, you should consider a stop at Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Italy. BMW Classic is hosting a “Club & Community” event, Amici & Automobili—Wheels & Weisswürscht, at the grounds of Villa Erba on Saturday May 20th.
I know what you’re thinking: “Yeah, right—I’ll just happen to be in Europe at that time and can convince my family (or travel companions) to attend yet another automotive event.” You never know! This may be how I convinced my wife to spend a day at the Nürburgring (pre-kids), so put some extra effort into building good will now.
BMW Classic says that attendees can expect to “celebrate legendary vehicles at the picturesque grounds of Villa Erba. Automotive clubs and communities from all over Europe are expected to follow the invitation to Lake Como.” In addition to well-maintained vehicles, there will be a selection of food trucks and souvenir shops at this Cars-and-Coffee-style event
There is a 50% BMW CCA discount for daytime tickets for those who also choose to visit the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este on the same day (Saturday only).
