On Thursday, March 11, Jake Dennis took the win in the Formula E: Accelerate Driver Challenge, a sim race on the Diriyah circuit run by twelve drivers who are regulars in actual Formula E cars in the series’ Season 7. In the Formula E Accelerate race for sim racers run on the same day, Kevin Siggy piloted a virtual BMW iFE.21 to a third-place finish.

Dennis, running a simulated iFE.21, started from pole and finished ahead of Dragon/Penske Autosport’s Sergio Sette Camara and ROKiT Venturi Racing’s Norman Nato.

In the sprint for sim racers, also run on the Diriyah circuit, Siggy finished third behind Frederic Rasmussen (Dragon/Penske Autosport) and Formula E Accelerate points leader Erhan Jajovski (ROKit Venturi Racing). Petar Brljak running the second BMW i Andretti Motorsport car finished eighth.
