BMW i Andretti Motorsport brought its iFE.21s to a three-day ABB Formula E pre-season test session in Valencia, Spain, on November 28 and 29. Both returning driver Maximilian Günther and the team’s new driver Jake Dennis posted competitive times, with Günther setting the fastest time of the event in the final session.

The sessions began on a wet track on Saturday morning. Venturi’s Edoardo Mortara was quickest in the session, with Dennis ninth and Günther twentieth.

Times improved in the remaining sessions, all run in dry conditions. On Saturday afternoon, Dennis was ninth and Günther was thirteenth in a session led by Porsche’s Andre Lotterer. Dennis was just .318 seconds off Lotterer’s pace, and Günther was just .540 seconds off.

On Sunday morning, Günther was a close second, just .101 seconds behind DS Techeetah’s António Félix da Costa, the reigning series champion. Dennis was again ninth, just .410 seconds off Félix da Costa’s fastest time.

In the Sunday afternoon session, Mahindra’s Alex Lynn topped the charts with a 1:11.941, with Günther second in 1:12.149, and Dennis third in 1:12.306.

Then, in the final session, run on Tuesday, Günther poted the fastest time of the event, a 1:11.760.
