The SRO’s May 8–9 Lime Rock event and its May 15–17 Victoria Day Speedfest at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park have been canceled. SRO plans to reschedule both events.
The series’ TC America and GT4 America SprintX series were scheduled to run at Lime Rock, while the CTMP event was to include GT4 America Sprint and GT World Challenge.
SRO is the last major sanctioning body to announce rescheduling of its early-season events. In a story on SRO’s 2020 plans, sportscar365.com reports that the series’ June VIR event could also be affected.—Brian Morgan
