Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, Heart of Dixie Chapter member Guy Foster, who won a $50 Shell gift card thanks to this picture of his 330i ZHP filling up at Shell!
“My dance with BMW started back in the early 2000s, when I discovered they were still rear-wheel-drive,” said Guy. “My first BMW was a 1999 323i. I made some aesthetic mods to give it a better look, but it still lacked power. I wasn’t a big fan of the new E46 generation of the 3 Series until I received a BMW magazine with the 330i Performance Package in Imola Red on the front cover. After two years of owing the 323i, I upgraded to the 330i ZHP.”
Asked how he found out about the BMW CCA, he said, “As for the club, I had known about it for years, being somewhat of a gearhead—an auto mechanic out of high school. When owning a very capable BMW, the best way to experience the car is with other enthusiasts who also have a passion for the brand.”
