Turkington Holds On To BTCC Lead After Thruxton

Tom Oliphant in the #15 West Surrey Racing BMW 330i M Sport was the best BMW finisher at the British Touring Car Championship event at Thruxton on August 18, finishing fifth in race one, fourth in race two, and seventh in race three.

Points leader Colin Turkington had the worst weekend of the three WSR BMW runners, finishing thirteenth in races one and three and ninth in race two. His teammate Andrew Jordan finished twelfth in race one, seventh in race two, and tenth in race three. Honda won all three races, with Sam Tordoff first in race one, Josh Cook winning race two, and Dan Cammish first in race three.
