Munich, the BMW Welt, and the BMW Museum are bucket list item for any BMW fan, and if you’re going to be in Germany on November 23, 2018, you’re in for a special treat.
The BMW Museum’s incredible rotating exhibits (which include famous concept vehicles, prototypes, race cars, one-off movie cars, and of course zero-mile examples of BMWs from throughout history) are usually presented behind the safety of ropes and architectural barriers, but for one night every year, BMW gives guests a set of gloves and lets them experience the cars up close and personal. It’s called the “Night of the White Gloves,” and this year, it’ll feature the museum’s usual range of heritage displays plus two special exhibits: “BMW i: Visionary Mobility” and “BMW Art Cars: How a Vision Became a Reality”.
The event runs from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and guests will have access to the Café M1 as well as another bar and an as-yet-unannounced musical guest. And the best part? Entry is free for BMW Car Club members (including the BMW CCA).
The event will be held just under a month from now, on November 23. If you’re a BMW CCA member and will be able to attend, RSVP by e-mailing communications@bmwcca.org by the deadline of November 12, 2018. We can’t wait to see your photos from the event!—David Rose
