Congratulations to Sacramento Valley Chapter member Carlos Fernandez, our latest Shell Fill-Up Friday winner! Carlos’ post featuring his 2005 M5 topping up with Shell V Power Nitro+ has won him a $25 Shell gift card!
Carlos’ M5 has had some tasteful modifications done, including H&R lowering springs, DPE 3 Piece Forged Wheels, Eisenmann Race Exhaust, and a tune by FastAttack Motorsports. He’s owned the car for over 2 years and while it’s not his first BMW (in fact, it’s his fifth), it is his first M car. His favorite thing about the car is the engine, BMW’s legendary S85B50 V10. According to Carlos, “that F1 sound will never get old and its always a blast to drive.”
Carlos first found out about the BMW CCA through a service advisor at his local dealership 8 years ago, and quickly joined the club and started getting involved. “I was brought in as family since day one and I get treated as family till this day” Carlos says. His favorite part about the club is “attending club events, the membership perks and being able to talk to and surround myself with fellow BMW heads like me.”
