Class A:

Of course, time-speed-distance rallyists find great satisfaction in the game, regardless of trophies and prizes; accurate calculation and precise driving are rewards in themselves. “It’s always a search for your personal best,” says one West Coast rallyist. “For most rallyists, the greatest reward is the lowest score: zero penalty points at a timing control.” Others liken the satisfaction of a good rally performance to completing the New York Times crossword puzzle—on a Saturday.
