BMW is showing off M Performance parts for the F90 M5 in a new advertisement posted to the BMW USA YouTube page. In the minute-long clip, titled Mom’s M5, a white M5 with a selection of add-ons from the M Performance parts catalog takes on both the street and the track as the driver heads home from her office.

The ad pays tribute to the past generations of the M5 with the inclusion of a scale model of an E60 M5—and a pristine E39 M5 tucked in the garage.
The F90 M5 is fitted with carbon-fiber kidney grilles and splitters that give the car an aggressive stance from the front. A rear spoiler and diffuser complement the M Performance exhaust from the rear, while carbon-fiber mirror caps and side skirts ensure that there is carbon-fiber to be seen from any angle. To round out the look, the car is fitted with Motorsport-colors decals that contrast nicely against the white paint.
You may recognize the main character in the video, especially if you have attended a BMW Performance Center program; Performance Center instructor Laura Hayes was tapped to play the lead role, offering her skills as a professional driver for the driving sequences and even being featured when not behind the wheel.—David Rose
