Did you know next week (April 21 – 27) is National Volunteer Week? What a perfect time to shine a light on all the volunteers who give their time and talents to the BMW Car Club of America.
Established in 1974 by President Nixon, National Volunteer Week is organized by the Points of Light Foundation, which supports the mission of volunteering for non-profit and corporate organizations.
BMW CCA volunteers make the magic happen at every Club event. They organize meetups and social drives. Volunteers run our driving schools, autocross and club racing events. They teach teen driving skills through the Tire Rack Street Survival program. And so, so much more.
Why do people choose to volunteer in the Club? Volunteering offers many rewards that extend far beyond the confines of an event. It is a journey of impact, togetherness, and growth. Plus, some of the greatest friendships in the Club are created when working and playing together.
The Club’s volunteer corps is truly the heartbeat of the BMW CCA, and the week of Volunteer Appreciation gives us the opportunity to honor the impact of all those who do good in our Club community.
