If it’s variety and racing action you want, you’ll see plenty of it on an SRO race weekend.

The four series under the SRO Motorsports Group umbrella in the US will once again have multiple BMW entries in 2025. The GT World Challenge, GT America, GT4 America, and TC America series host two races per venue, and as a BMW fan, you’ll see no less than eight races on a race weekend featuring the beloved marque. Here’s a look at the BMW entries in each of the championships for 2025.

GT WORLD CHALLENGE AMERICA
GT World Challenge America (GTWCA) is the premier racing series in SRO America, featuring GT3-spec cars. In 2025, four BMW M4 GT3 EVO entries will come from three different teams.

Turner Motorsport: Turner Motorsport (shown in top photo) returns to GTWCA as defending champions in the Pro-Am class, with Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg returning in the #29 M4 GT3 EVO.
Random Vandals Racing: The team stepped up into GTWCA toward the end of last season and will expand to two entries in 2025. Kenton Koch and Connor De Phillippi will drive the #99 M4 GT3 EVO in the Pro class, while Bill Auberlen and Varun Choksey will race the #51 M4 GT3 EVO in the Pro-Am class.

Flying Lizard Motorsports: Elias Sabo and Andy Lee return to the series in the #8 M4 GT3 EVO, competing in the Pro-Am class.

There are 19 total GTWCA entries for the season opener at Sonoma Raceway, with four entries in the Pro class, fourteen entries in Pro-Am, and one entry in the Am class. BMW teams will compete against seven other manufacturers, including Aston Martin, Mercedes-AMG, Porsche, Corvette, Ford, and McLaren.

GT AMERICA
The GT America championship is for single driver entries only and features both GT3 and GT4-spec cars. Drivers in this series must have a Bronze driver rating.

Turner Motorsport: Turner Motorsport is back in GT America with Justin Rothberg driving the #29 M4 GT3 EVO. Rothberg was runner-up in the championship last year.
Flying Lizard Motorsports: Elias Sabo will drive the Flying Lizard Motorsports #80 M4 GT3 EVO.
Fast Track Racing: Denny Stripling will drive the #188 M4 GT4 EVO in the GT4 class for Fast Track Racing.

Given his form in 2024, Justin Rothberg has to be a pre-season favorite to win the championship this year. Other strong drivers are in the seven-car SR03 (GT3) field, including former champion George Kurz in a Mercedes-AMG GT3. There are ten total entries in the GT4 class.

GT4 AMERICA
The GT4 America series has become one of the most competitive in the US. BMW teams were fighting for championships in every category in 2024 and should continue that momentum into 2025.

Random Vandals Racing: Random Vandals Racing will have three BMW entries across three different classes in 2025. Kenton Koch and Kevin Boehm will drive the #97 M4 GT4 EVO in the top Silver class, where they were runners-up in 2024. In the Pro-Am class, Sam Craven and Josh Green will drive the #94 car, and Team Principal Paul Sparta and Michael Kanisczak will drive the #98 M4 GT4 EVO in the Am class.

Random Vandals Racing will have three BMW entries in GT4 America.

Auto Technic Racing: Zac Anderson and Colin Garrett will return as co-drivers in the #52 M4 GT4 EVO in the Silver class and should be contenders. They were strong in 2024, and Anderson was a class champion for the team in 2023. Matt Million and Tyler Stone will share the #53 M4 GT4 EVO in the Pro-Am class.

Rigid Speed Company: Father and son duo Joseph and Lucas Catania will share the #17 M4 GT4 in the Pro-Am class.
Carrus Callas Raceteam: The Carrus Callas Raceteam will compete in the Am class with the #104 M4 GT4, with drivers still to be announced. Chris Walsh, driving an M2 CS, won the TC America championship for the team last year.

There are 30 total entries in GT4 America from seven manufacturers, with BMW represented by eleven entries across the Silver, Pro-Am, and Am classes.

TC AMERICA
The TC America championship is undergoing a transition year in 2024, as the series is going from three classes in 2024 to a single TC class in 2025. The MINI USA team that competed with several cars in 2024 and over the last several years is not returning, and there’s only one BMW entry in 2025.

Kaplan Racing Systems: Aaron Kapan competed in the TCX class last year in an M2 CS and will return to the TC America series in 2025, driving the #18 M2 CS Cup.

There are only ten entries in the TC America for the 2024 opener, though the series says it expects more entries as the season progresses. BMW may have more of a presence in 2026, when the new M2 CS race car will be eligible to compete in the series.

The SRO America season opens at Sonoma Raceway next weekend.
