AutoTechnic Racing, based out of New Milford, Connecticut, had a great season in 2023, with Zac Anderson winning the SRO GT4 America Silver Class championship in the teams #51 M4 GT4, which he shared for almost the entire season with John Capestro-Dubets. Anderson will be back with AutoTechnic Racing in 2024 and will be sharing the #51 car with Colin Garrett, who won the 2023 SRO TC America TCX Class championship in an M2 CS Racing entered by Rooster Hall Racing.

The duo of Anderson and Garrett should be a strong one this season. Anderson proved to be one of the best drivers in the GT4 America series last year behind the wheel of the M4 GT4, while Garrett was equally impressive in the M2 CS Racing. Garrett also has experience in the M4 GT4, as he contested the GT4 America Pro-Am class championship last year along with Johan Schwartz.

AutoTechnic Team Manager Charlie Scott is looking forward to having Anderson back along with Garrett for 2024. “We are thrilled to have Zac and Colin spearheading our championship defense this season,” he said. “Their combined skill, experience, and willingness to maximize this still rather new BMW chassis certainly has the potential to match and hopefully exceed the success we had last season.”

The first two rounds of the SRO GT4 America season will be held at Sonoma Raceway in California on April 5th-7th, followed by rounds three and four at Sebring International Raceway in Florida on May 3rd-5th. —David Haueter
