Once again this July, all roads and BMW roundels will point toward the Steel City for the annual vintage races through the picturesque streets of Schenley Park. This truly remarkable event is not to be missed by any authentic BMW enthusiast! This year the Allegheny Chapter is featuring all BMW Touring models in its corral.  If you have a Touring or a wagon of any year or model, the chapter extends a special invitation to bring your car to this event! We want to see 100 Tourings in the Park!  As always, all BMWs of any model or year are welcome at the annual gathering.

The 41st anniversary of the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix, July 21–23, will feature over 150 race cars on the nation’s only vintage race on city streets, over 2,500 cars in an international car show, plus catered lunches and all-day hospitality tents, all while raising funds for worthy charities.

The Allegheny Chapter begins its weekend festivities on Friday, July 21st, with a drive over some of the most scenic roads in the Laurel Highlands to a lunch destination at the historic Stonehouse Restaurant in Farmington, Pennsylvania. There will be free time in the afternoon to explore Laurel Highland attractions on your own. After returning to the hotel late afternoon, take in the view of the Pittsburgh skyline and enjoy the Three Rivers from the rooftop deck of the Hotel Indigo where we will host our welcome reception.

The weekend BMW CCA Corral features reserved trackside parking, catered lunches, and a hospitality tent. Watch the vintage racing through the streets of Schenley Park within 250 feet of our tent! Don’t miss the opportunity for “quick” tour of the race course with Mike Renner of the BMW Performance Center at the wheel. Charity rides are a thrilling experience and the proceeds benefit a great cause. Nothing else in the country compares with the Schenley Park experience!
