BMW CCA Cars & Coffee Food Drive

The food drive and Cars & Coffee gathering held at BMW CCA National Headquarters this past weekend was a tremendous success! Onsite volunteers collected nearly three truckloads of food donations on Saturday morning provided by the local enthusiast community and our members. The donations go to benefit the United Ministries Pantry in Greenville and the 8,700 families who the ministry is serving.

Everyone who made a donation was given a raffle ticket for a chance to win two Track Meet slots (a value of $499 each) donated by the BMW Performance Center. The winner of this grand prize was Jake Peyton of local Greenville, South Carolina. Also, second and third place prize winners were drawn for BMW CCA Foundation “Genesis” apparel. The lucky winners of the apparel were Julie Farrall and E. Chavez.

The event and level of donations wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of the BMW CCA Sandlapper Chapter, BMW Performance Center, Cars & Coffee of the Upstate, and Le Mans Karting! Thank you to all of our partners and amazing volunteers who helped throughout the event!

In addition to the food drive, the blood drive was a great success as well! We had fifteen donors in three hours, which equals 45 transfusions for our upstate hospitals!

The generosity of our BMW Car Club of America members and our local enthusiast community is making a big difference this holiday season, and for that we are very grateful—thank you to everyone who participated!—Chris Hennecy
