Yannick Fübrich and David Griessner in the #650 Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport M240i Racing scored their seventh class win of the season in the VLN season finale at the Nürburgring, successfully defending their title in the BMW M240i Racing Cup and winning the overall VLN championship.

The overall VLN win was the first for the two drivers and the second in a row for Pixum Team Adrenalin; Danny Brink, Philipp Leisen, and Christopher Rink won the title last year in the team’s 325i.
Griessner said, “That is the greatest success of my career. My final stint in the race seemed to go on forever. It feels like a dream to have done it—and I think that we really earned this title win.”

Fübrich noted, “Our season was nearly perfect. Today’s race was the icing on the cake. We had to win to become VLN champions and to defend our Cup title and we managed to prevail in an unbelievably tight race. We can be very proud of that.”—Brian Morgan
