Colin Turkington in the #1 West Surrey Racing 330i M Sport extended his British Touring Car Championship drivers’ points lead at the series’ penultimate event of the season at Silverstone on September 29. Turkington finished fourteenth in race one, recovering after a spin, finished a very close second in a rain-shortened race two, and finished seventh in race three. The wins in races one and two went to Tom Ingram in a Toyota Corolla, and the win in race three went to Jack Goff in a Volkswagen CC.

Turkington’s teammate Andrew Jordan, who came into Silverstone second in drivers’ points, finished tenth in race one and eighth in races two and three. He fell to third in points behind Honda racer Dan Cammish.

Tom Oliphant in the third WSR 330i finished fifth, seventh and fourth in the three races at Silverstone.
