Andrew Jordan in the #77 West Surrey Racing  BMW 330i M Sport won the second British Touring Car Race on the Knockhill Circuit in Scotland. He finished second in the first race, and had to retire from the third race after he was hit by a spinning competitor on the first lap.

Jordan’s teammate Colin Turkington, the BTCC drivers’ points leader, finished fourth in race one, but was hit and taken out of the points in race two, and finished tenth in race three.

Tom Oliphant in the third WSR 330i M Sport finished fifteenth in race one, fourteenth in race two, and thirteenth in race three. The win in race one went to Honda racer Rory Butcher, and the win in race three went to Jake Hill in an Audi.

Jordan’s performance at Knockhill leaves him ten points behind Turkington in the drivers’ championship going into the series’ penultimate race weekend at Silverstone on September 28–29.—Brian Morgan
