Colin Turkington in the #1 West Surrey Racing BMW 330i M Sport extended his championship lead with two wins in the fifth British Touring Car Championship event of the season at Oulton Park.

Turkington started from the pole position and led the entire way in both races. His teammate Andrew Jordan finished third in race one and second in race two.

Stephen Jelley in the Team Parker Racing 125i M sport made it a sweep for BMW, taking the win in race three. Tom Oliphant was second in the third WSR 330i, Jordan was fourth, and Turkington was eighth. Audi racer Jake Hill, who finished first on the track, was penalized for a contact incident and dropped to fourteenth in the final standings.

BTCC takes a break in July, returning to competition on August 3–4 at Snetterton.—Brian Morgan
