António Félix da Costa finished eleventh, and his MS&AD Andretti teammate, Tom Blomqvist, finished sixteenth in the Formula E race in Punta del Este, Uruguay, on March 17.
Félix da Costa qualified thirteenth, with Blomqvist qualifying sixteenth, but Félix da Costa was moved up to eleventh when other drivers received penalties. Blomqvist, alas, was moved to the back of the pack because the team had to change a gearbox after a practice shunt.

Félix da Costa ran as high as eighth, but fell back to eleventh, while Blomqvist moved up to sixteenth at the end. Techeetah’s Jean-Eric Vergne extended his points lead in the series with his second win of the season.

The series returns to Europe for an April 14 race in Rome. Before that, manufacturers will test the Season Five cars in Monteblanco, Spain, on March 26–28. BMW AG is scheduled to be there with the new powertrain for the Andretti cars.
