One of the fans’ favorite events at the BMW Car Club of America Oktoberfest is the Pirelli Concours d’Elegance. The O’Fest concours event can bring in everything from weekend project restorations to some of the most spectacular BMWs in the country, in both the Display and Judged sections.
Preparing a car for judged competition in a concours ranges from merely hard to rigorous, with expert judges tasked with determining which in a range of perfect examples is most perfect. Thankfully, there are multiple classes (from Clean to Super Clean), and at O’Fest, the concours becomes a spectator sport where display category entries can observe the judging process and take notes for future events.
