Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, LA Chapter member Eric Christiansen, who won a $50 Shell gift card thanks to this picture of his E36 M3!
“My E36 M3 has 150,000 miles and is my daily driver right now,” said Eric. “I bought it when I graduated from college at the beginning of last year. I told myself I’d get an Estoril, two-door once I finished school. I completely lucked out and stumbled on this car with an Anthracite M-Cross interior. I believe this is one of seven, two-door E36 M3s with that color combination in the States.”
Asked how he originally discovered the BMW CCA, he said, “I heard about the club years ago while reading through my uncle’s Roundels when I was in junior high. Since I was sixteen, I’ve almost exclusively owned older BMWs including four different E30s, two E21s (added a turbo to one of them), another E36 M3, and a K100RS. I’ve been to a couple CCA meets and it’s awesome to meet other people that have the same interests as myself.”
