“This M3 is the second E92 I’ve had,” said Eric. “My first was a lease. After leasing all the M cars in BMW’s stable, I chose this model to buy and hold on to for good. I special-ordered it in silver, as the lighter color really enhances the gorgeous wicked lines of this car. BMW only offered their sedan in silver, not the coupe; however, by paying extra, I got it—and am very pleased. I added a StopTech 355-mm brake kit, H&R coil-over springs, a Turner Motorsport tune/chip, cold-air intake, carbon-fiber mirrors, front splitter, and rear deck lid. Last but not least, I am running an Akrapovič full-titanium exhaust system and a custom-built differential with gearing that really woke the car up! I attend four to five track events per year and daily-drive it as well. It handles both jobs with aplomb.”
Asked how he originally discovered the BMW CCA, Eric said, “I bought my first BMW in 1996, a 540i, and the salesman was a buddy who encourage me to join the BMW CCA. The members in my chapter, Heart Of Dixie, are all cool people, good drivers, and run a top-notch HPDE program, which I run a lot.”
