BMW won the 2025 SRO GT4 Manufacturers Title in global competition for the second year in a row. This isn’t the same as a traditional championship, though. SRO sanctions racing series around the world. So, while it has its country and region-specific championships, it also keeps track of the points the manufacturers are scoring worldwide. Those points all count toward the global championship, and BMW has been very successful around the world with the M4 GT4 EVO.

The M4 GT4 EVO teams were so successful that BMW took the lead in global points in early summer and never looked back, clinching the title with two races left in the season, relegating Porsche to second place. The BMW teams competing in the SRO GT4 America championship in the US contributed a lot of points toward the global championship, with Random Vandals Racing winning the championships in both the Silver class and the Pro-Am class, and BimmerWorld Racing winning the Am championship.

Chazel Technologie Course finished second in the GT4 European championship.

Teams racing the M4 GT4 EVO didn’t have as much success in other races around the globe, but many other teams scored points around the world to contribute to the title. Most notably, Century Motorsport finished second in the GT4 category of the British GT championship, FK Performance Motorsport finished third in the ADAC GT4 Germany standings, and Chazel Technologie Course finished second in the GT4 European championship. BMW teams have also had success in the inaugural SRO GT Cup in China.

Although BMW has wrapped up the global championship, there’s one more race still to run this year, with the SRO GT Cup series running its final race on the same weekend as the Macau Grand Prix next weekend. There’s also a GT3 race at Macau and Team WRT has entered a pair of M4 GT3 EVOs for drivers Sheldon van der Linde and Raffaele Marciello. We’ll report on that race next time.
