For five years, BimmerLife MiX Enthusiast Weekend, presented by Continental Tire, has been the premier event for BMW fans nationwide. This milestone year promises an even bigger celebration of all things BMW, packed with thrilling driving events, scenic group drives, and exclusive experiences.

M Club Day – Friday, April 25
We are headed back to the BMW Performance Center in Greer, South Carolina, for MiX on Friday, April 25th, for M Club Day, designed exclusively for BMW CCA members!
Why drive with us? Our group is comprised of 100% true BMW enthusiasts. You can drive other events with strangers, but you know the drivers in our group are part of the BMW CCA family, and we know that you are, too. Our events are specifically designed for club members and are something special to attend!
This event focuses on improving your driving skills and having fun through a combination of driving exercises, classroom instruction, and competitive events. No helmets or previous driving school experience are required. All skill levels are welcome, and everyone 18 years and older is encouraged to attend. As always, the Performance Center provides current model M cars, world-class instructors, gas, tires, lunch, and a first-class facility for a fun-filled day at the track. Just show up ready to drive!
Two drivers share a car throughout the day; it’s only $795/pp. We can also offer drivers a car to themselves for the entire day. If there is no car sharing, you will drive all day by yourself for $1590.
The M Club Day is a special program created by the Performance Center staff exclusively for BMW CCA members. It will resemble the one-day M School events, focusing on key elements such as proper driving position, vehicle dynamics, car-control skills, weight transfer, oversteer and understeer, and enhanced vision techniques.
The day is structured into morning and afternoon sessions that combine skill exercises with competitive events. Participants can expect to engage in activities like skid pad courses (both wet and dry), braking and handling practice, autocross, lapping sessions, and more.
For this event, we will be driving current-model BMW M Cars. Please note that the Performance Center staff continually changes this program and the cars we drive, so session contents and the M cars available may vary from one school to the next.

All M-car drivers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license. Sorry, no exceptions.
Register for two drivers if you want to drive both seats in a car by yourself all day; you will be charged $1,590 for both seats.
Non-driving guests are welcome and encouraged to attend all MiX weekend social events, but during M Club Day, they are not allowed to ride or be on track at any time during the day. Sorry, there is no provision for minors under 18 years old at the Performance Center while parents drive.
A Taste of M and X Driving Event – Saturday, April 26
Join us at the BMW Performance Driving School for this unique driving event focused primarily on M models. These driving activities offer four stations which include the following: M2 timed runs, M4 lead/follow, M3 hot laps, and X5 off-road. Here are a couple of photos from past events:
The event kicks off at the BMW Performance Driving School on Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude with a buffet lunch at 1:00 p.m.
Test your driving skills with timed runs through the driving course and learn the skill of lead/follow. Have you ever experienced the full off-road capability of the BMW X5? If not, prepare to be stunned by the off-road course experience. Cap your experience with a thrill ride like none other as a professional instructor takes the BMW M3 through its paces with a hot lap around the track with you as a passenger.

Exclusive Skid Pad Day – Sunday, April 27
Join the M Chapter for an incredible and exclusive event to be held during MiX weekend on Sunday, April 27th! Along with our Chief Instructor, Mike Renner, BMW Performance Center extraordinaire, we have the unique opportunity to use one of the largest ½ mile wet skid pads in the US; that’s as large as some professional race tracks (Bristol Motor Speedway is only 0.533 miles)!
It is a large track with plenty of wet, polished concrete to learn advanced car control skills and drift your car. There are huge run-off areas, so it’s also a very safe environment for learning from mistakes. Past similar events, run by the Sandlapper Chapter, have been an outstanding success, with many drivers understanding how to better manage their cars in a skid and learning the art of “drifting”. The cost is $300 per participant per session. This price includes Mike Renner’s professional coaching, half a day of track time, and lunch. There are typically three cars on the track at once, providing a significant amount of seat time during each session. Based on experience, after that long on the skid pad, you’re thoroughly done; it requires a lot of effort and focus to master it.
You can share a car, but it’s still $300 per driver. Driver guests are welcomed, as there are many great vantage points around the track to spectate.
Space is limited to 12 participants/drivers per session, so please sign up early. We will run a waitlist because this event will absolutely sell out.
Note: This is a wet skid pad, so tire wear is minimal. However, on rare occasions, if you were to slide off the concrete surface and/or run over the sprinkler grate in just the wrong way, a tire could be damaged. It is rare, but it has happened. Be sure to use at least the minimum rated tire pressures. Safety meetings will take place before track sessions.
