The Random Vandals Racing team has become one of the most competitive and successful teams in the SRO GT4 America championship over the last few years and will expand into a full-time effort in the SRO GT World Challenge America (GTWCA) championship in 2025 with an impressive array of drivers.
Random Vandals regular Kenton Koch will be joined for the full season in the teams M4 GT3 EVO by BMW M Motorsport works driver Connor De Phillippi, with Indy Car driver Conor Daly joining the team in the Indy 8 Hour finale.
Random Vandals made their first step into the GTWCA series in 2024 and proved to be very competitive right away, highlighted by a podium finish at Barber Motorsports Park. The pairing of De Phillippi and Koch should make them a contender in the GTWCA Pro class. “This is the next step in Random Vandals’ evolution as a sportscar team,” said Team Principal Paul Sparta. “The Kenton, Connor, Conor lineup was very successful in our partial season last year. Their collective experience, technical acumen, and vibe is a fantastic combination and should produce great results in 2025.”
Koch has been a part of the Random Vandals programs over the last few seasons in the SRO GT4 America championship and finished second in the standings last year with Kevin Boehm in an M4 GT4. For De Phillippi, it’s a return to full-season GT racing after spending two years in the BMW M Team RLL GTP program in IMSA. He also has previous experience with the team, as he was brought in as a third driver for the Indy 8 Hour last year. “Joining the RVR family for the full season is the perfect continuation of what we started last year,” said De Phillippi. “Their commitment to performance has been on full display over the offseason as they’ve built out the team structure for 2025. With our knockout driver combo alongside Kenton for the full season and adding Conor Daly for the Indy 8H, I believe we have the pieces we need to have a successful racing program.”
GT World Challenge America is shaping up to be a series to watch for BMW fans in 2025. Along with Random Vandals Racing in the Pro class, Turner Motorsport has also confirmed they will return to the Pro-Am class with drivers Robby Foley and Justin Rothberg, and we expect that ST Racing will return to the series as well, after running BMWs in both the Pro-Am and Pro classes in 2024. The season opens up at Sonoma Raceway in California on the weekend of March 28th-30th.
