The 2024 BMW CCA Dream Car Raffle X-Travaganza found its winners during a drawing on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2024, hosted at Taylor BMW in Evans, Georgia. BMW CCA staff joined members of Sandlapper Chapter and the staff of Taylor BMW, including Luis Olmo, Taylor BMW Business Manager and BMW CCA member, to draw the winners of this year’s big raffle, which features several of BMW’s popular X models.

GRAND PRIZE

The Grand Prize for this year’s raffle is a 1-of-1 BMW CCA Edition X5 M Competition, valued at $168,545, was assembled at BMW Plant Spartanburg and modified by Turn 14 Distribution. This year’s winner is Stephen R., M Chapter member. Stephen has been a member since 2011 and was very excited to be this year’s grand prize winner.

FIRST PRIZE

The 2024 First Prize is a 2024 X3 M40i, valued at $61,900. This year’s winner is David H. who had just finished golfing when he received the call. He was so excited that he said he was going to buy a round of drinks for the whole bar. Stephen is a member of the Delaware Valley Chapter.

MAIN PRIZES

And winners of the BMW CCA Raffle’s Main Prizes can choose between a 2024 330e or a 2024 X2, each valued at approximately $45,600. One winner is Tony O., a member of the Tarheel Chapter. Tony answered the phone with, “I won a car,” and was very excited when that turned out to be true. He said he usually buys about 20 tickets with a friend, but this year bought ten on his own.

The second Main Prize winner, is Jeff F., a member of the Green Mountain Chapter.  He was very excited to learn he won and couldn’t wait to tell his wife. “Thank you. Longtime member and this is fantastic.”

PARTIAL PRIZE

Longtime member Brian H. joined BMW CCA in 1978. A member of Golden Gate Chapter, he said he typically purchases four raffle tickets. This year, he won the Partial Prize. That prize is the result of the final batch of tickets sold that didn’t cross the 5,500 needed to add another car to the prize pool. This year, the partial prize was worth $30,625.

Members of Sandlapper Chapter joined BMW CCA staff at Taylor BMW to assist with the drawings. At the conclusion of the drawings, BMW CCA Executive Director Frank Patek presented Luis Olmo with an Outstanding Dealership Award from the club in recognition of the amazing support Taylor BMW continues to provide for BMW CCA and the Dream Car Raffle.

For each 5,500 tickets sold exclusively to BMW CCA members, an additional car was added to the prize pool. This year, there were four cars awarded. Additionally, a partial cash prize of  $30,625 was awarded.

The 2024 BMW CCA Dream Car Raffle ran from June through early October of 2024. Tickets were available exclusively to BMW CCA members and cost $25 each. In addition to the big prizes, a variety of special drawings, flash drawings, and rewards kept things exciting. Members who purchased tickets during specific time frames were also eligible for special drawings with prizes ranging from American Express gift cards, a One-Day M School at the BMW Performance Center, to custom BMW CCA Nike Air Jordan shoes. Members who purchased tickets at or above certain quantities will receive a special BMW CCA 55th Anniversary grille badge, with some also qualifying to receive a special triptych BMW CCA mug set.

Members who purchased tickets and qualify to receive the 55th Anniversary grille badge and/or the mug set can look forward to receiving those in the next few weeks.
