Legends Of The Autobahn West, scheduled for Saturday, August 14 during Monterey Car Week, is set to feature an array of some of the most compelling German automobiles ever made. The premier concours event for models from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, and Audi, this year’s gathering will include a display of the new BMW M3 and M4 Competition xDrive models.
The display of the new xDrive-equipped M cars at Legends Of The Autobahn West will coincide with the market launch of the two models, which is scheduled for August. BMW announced the addition of M xDrive to the Competition versions of the G80 M3 and G82 M4 back in April. M xDrive allows the latest M cars to take full advantage of the S58 twin-turbocharged M inline-six engine’s output of 503 horsepower at 6,250 rpm and 479 pound-feet of torque from 2,750 to 5,500, for the fastest acceleration time of the M3 and M4 lineup: zero-to-60 mph in just 3.4 seconds. The new M3 and M4 Competition xDrive models will be joined by the 2022 M4 GT3, BMW’s latest customer racing car, and race drivers Bill Auberlen, John Edwards, and Connor De Phillippi.

The eleventh annual Legends Of The Autobahn® West, presented by Michelin, will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Registration is closed for concours and display cars, but spectator admissions is free, and no registration is required.
The new location for the event is the Monterey County Fairgrounds.
