Congratulations to this week’s Shell Fill-Up Friday winner, Oregon Chapter member Cole Roth (IG @coleroth_8), who won a $50 Shell fuel card thanks to this picture of his Z4 filling up at Shell.
“It’s a 2005 E85 Z4 2.5-liter automatic with 125,000 miles; she is my daily driver,” says Cole. “I picked her up from a sweet old couple in Eugene, Oregon, where she had been parked under an evergreen tree for two years. I’ve done most of the work on her myself—exhaust, spoiler, headlight replacement, lower control arms, etc. She’s a great car and a blast to drive. When I can, I drop the top and my son and I cruise to the beach. I plan on taking her to some autocross events this summer.”
When asked how he discovered the club, Cole said, “I saw a BMW CCA grille badge on a E36 M3 at a recent car show and asked the owner what it stood for. After talking to him and actually looking it up, there were so many events and trips that I felt like I wanted to join so I could participate!”
