The 49th Annual BMW CCA Oktoberfest wasn’t just a success for attendees and vintage-racing fans. Because the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix is a charity event (and has been so since its conception in 1983), the excellent attendance also gave PVGP a bump in donations—to the tune of more than $125,000.

This week, BMW CCA representatives, members, and Executive Director Frank Patek were on hand at the Victory Lap Celebration in Pittsburgh (held at the Hofbräuhaus, an old favorite of BMW CCA members visiting the Steel City for PVGP) to make the official announcement.

The result was an all-time record, raising $126,500 for the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix charities during the 49th Annual BMW CCA O’Fest presented by Michelin. Congratulations to BMW CCA members, Allegheny Chapter BMW CCABMW USA, Pittsburgh BMW Dealer Group, BMW CCA Club Racing, BMW Performance Center, and BMW Classic Car Club of America!—David Rose
