Congratulations to San Diego Chapter president Lisa Goehring, our latest Shell Fill-Up Friday winner! Lisa’s “Shellfie” taken on the final leg home from BMW CCA O’fest 2018 has earned her a $25 gift card!
“I learned about the CCA when I got my first BMW, a 2005 335i sedan bought CPO in 2006. There was an informational brochure on the club included with the driver’s manual,” says Lisa. “I joined to try and learn more about the cars, since I’d never had one. I learned that there were autocrosses and track schools, and thought this would be a great opportunity to do that.”
Asked what her favorite thing about being a member is, she says, “My favorite thing is having so many opportunities to travel to cool events, meet some great people that have become dear friends, and learn more about performance driving.” (She didn’t mention that she even helps out fellow members, like hauling Roundel editor Satch Carlson’s luggage to and from Pittsburgh for him when he whined about a lack of space in his roadster!)
And, of course, Lisa favors filling up her M2 with Shell: “I love that Shell is a Top Tier fuel and that they offer a reward program,” she says .
