Do you tell people how much you like your BMWs? Try the same with the BMW CCA and you might win a free renewal year of membership, a profile in Roundel magazine, Michelin swag, Griot’s products, Michelin tires and a one or two-day BMW Performance Center M School! If we spend a good deal of money on our cars and often find ourselves sharing our pride in them, it ends up being a pretty simple discussion then sharing our enthusiasm for the club we call our own—that only costs $48/year. That becomes an even more intriguing discussion when your prospect hears that his or her $48 could lead to a rebate of up to $1,500 on a BMW, too!
Remember, we have Membership Drive winners every month! For January, Michiana Chapter member Quenton Smith was the monthly winner. For referring five members in January, Quenton won a free renewal year of his membership. Who will win for February? Or for March? We also have quarterly first, second and third place winners for members who refer a minimum of six per quarter. So even if you’ve had a late referral start this year, you still have time to refer new members and maybe win a month or put yourself in a good position to win quarterly prizes like the minimum half page Roundel profile and a $150 value Michelin swag bag, or a second-place prize of $50 toward merchandise in the BMW CCA store or a third-place prize of $25 to the store.
Those are 24 chances to win, all before the drawings at the end of the year. Whether you win a month or a quarter or not, each referral you make is an entry into the Recruiters Competition drawing for a one-day M School at the BMW Performance Center or with ten or more referrals, all your entries will instead go toward the Membership Drivers Award—a prize package worth more than $5,500 including a $500 Griot’s Car Care Package, a $1,200 tire certificate from Michelin and a two-day M School at the Performance Center!
What’s your pick-up line? How many of your friends have told you they don’t want to be in the club? The rest of them are candidates to join (and convince those few who said no)! If they have a BMW, ask them why and then share with them the benefit or activity of the club that fits that best. It might not take one nudge. First, they need to know what the club is and then we can ask them to join. Send them to our Membership Benefits page or straight to our Join page. But if you give them the link to join, be sure to put your membership number there to help get the referral: www.bmwcca.org/join/######. Remind them that using your referral number will enter them in their own drawing for a one-day M School.
