Mike Allen pays tribute to fellow New York Chapter member David Flores.
The New York Chapter has lost a steadfast member with the untimely passing of David Flores.
David, an active fourteen-year chapter devotee, was a resolute individual who, with a perpetual smile on his face, would step up and help wherever needed. This dedication was evidenced by his selfless involvement in our autocross program, Street Survival, HPDE activities, and various New York Chapter sponsored social events.
Dave was the outgoing Chapter President and Autocross Chair—roles that he held for the past three years. Prior to this he held various other positions including Vice President, HPDE Chief Instructor, Newsletter Editor, and Webmaster. Suffice to say, Dave was an active, focused, and stalwart New York Chapter member.
He leaves behind his wife, Chrystel Flores, daughter, Anjali Flores, and son, Bodhi Flores. Please keep his family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time.
A GoFundMe page has been set up to assist the family during these challenging times.
