In conjunction with The Vintage event for 2022, The Ultimate Driving Museum hosted an open house of the Power of M exhibition in Greer, SC.
The museum’s doors were opened for BMW enthusiasts traveling themselves or in caravans to the popular event. Travelers parked their vehicles on the museum lawn in a preview of the show to be had at The Vintage the next day.
The Vintage, an event featuring hundreds of classic BMWs, attracts enthusiasts who often drive through or stay in the Greenville, SC area to take advantage of the many BMW-oriented attractions, including The BMW CCA Foundation’s Ultimate Driving Museum.
Guest got up close and personal with the array of classic and modern vehicles celebrating the 50th year of BMW’s performance M brand. Attending guests were also treated to a speakers’ panel featuring BMW CCA Foundation Trustees Scott Hughes, Jackie Beechek, Lance White, and Foudation Creative Director Jackie Jouret. At the event, vehicles representing both the first and last VINs of E30 M3s for the U.S. market were present, according to Michael Mitchell, Curator.
The Vintage, created and run by Scott Sturdy and his team is held in Hot Springs, North Carolina. The event showcases vintage BMWs of all types in a one-day show that attracts hundreds of BMW enthusiasts each year. Learn more here.
