BMW recently published a list of 32 American dealerships that earned the automaker’s Center of Excellence award, recognizing the highest-performing establishments in the country. There are 350 BMW centers in the U.S., and all of them were examined based on performance metrics related to sales, after sales, service, and the customer experience among more. The metrics are based on the balanced scorecard index, and the recognized dealerships outperformed their peers across the aforementioned categories throughout 2021.
After recognizing the top U.S. dealerships of 2019, 2020 marked a hiatus from the award due to the effects of the pandemic.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate the electrifying performance of this year’s winners and mark the return of the prestigious Center of Excellence award following a temporary pause in 2020,” said Sebastian Mackensen, president and CEO, BMW NA. “Our dealers are integral to the success of the BMW brand and we are extremely grateful for their tireless efforts, leadership and commitment to our customers.
