2022 BMW CCA Elections Now Under Way

Election-BMW-CCA

Voting is now underway for the position of Pacific Regional Vice President, who will serve on the National Board of the BMW CCA. Only members in the Pacific Region will receive ballots in accordance with the Club’s bylaws since there is only one candidate for the positions of BMW CCA Treasurer and North Atlantic Region Vice President.

Voting opened on January 3, 2022. All votes must be completed and received by BMW CCA headquarters by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 11, 2022, in order to be counted. Only members in good standing as of December 31, 2021, are eligible to vote in this election.

For the 2022 BMW CCA election, voting is being done electronically via the Internet using a secure election service. Members will receive an email after January 3, 2022 with a unique link that allows them to sign in and vote. The online ballot will display all items and races for which the member is eligible to vote. Please note that only members in the Pacific region will receive the ballot email.

A member who is unable or who chooses not to vote electronically may contact BMW CCA headquarters at +1 (800) 878-9292 or +1 (864) 250-0022 and request a paper ballot. Paper ballots must be requested by February 1, 2022. Completed ballots must be received by BMW CCA headquarters by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 11, 2022 in order to be counted.

In accordance with Article 5, Section 7 of the BMW Car Club of America bylaws, ballots will not be prepared this year for the position of BMW CCA Treasurer or North Atlantic Region Vice President because there is only one candidate for each position. Those candidates will be certified at the annual BMW CCA general meeting.

Please read these statements of interest written by fellow BMW CCA members beginning on page eight of the January 2022 edition of Roundel, which will help you understand why they are interested in becoming elected leaders of the Club.

If you would like to learn more about our candidates, we encourage you to pose questions in forums that have been created for each of them.
