The ABB Formula E series will return to the track with a series of three double-headers run at Tempelhof Airport in Berlin. The races will be run without spectators present over an eight-day period in August; the dates are August 5–6, 8–9, and 12–13.

The Tempelhof races will complete the series’ 2019–2020 season. Formula E had completed five races before the season was suspended because of the coronavirus pandemic. BMW iAndretti’s Alexander Sims and Maximilian Günther are third and fourth in the drivers’ standings after the first five races, in strong contention for the championship behind DS Techeetah’s Antonio Felix da Costa and Jaguar Racing’s Mitch Evans, and the BMW iAndretti team is second in points behind Techeetah.—Brian Morgan
