Do you miss driving your BMW? Get it out of the garage, fill the trunk with non-perishables, and drive over to the Sandlapper Chapter’s Food Drive at BMW CCA Headquarters!
Our Sandlapper Chapter is holding a food drive to benefit the food pantry of United Ministries on Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.
We will be collecting non-perishable cans and dry goods to feed our local neighbors. Sadly, this coronavirus crisis has put many families in a tough spot, and we’d like to help out. In the past three years, United Ministries has provided food for nearly 5,000 families in the Greenville, SC community.
Our goal is to collect 500 pounds of goods for United Ministries Food Pantry. Of course, monetary donations are always welcome!
Here are some examples of needed goods:
- Canned meats (beef stew, tuna, chili)
- Canned fruit and veggies (green beans, peas, corn)
- Dry goods like pasta, cereal, beans, peanut butter, powdered milk
- Others: rice, noodles, mac & cheese
We will be observing social distancing guidelines from the CDC so we are requesting participants drive through the line and drop-off to the volunteer. We request no parking and socializing at the site.
See you at the BMW CCA Headquarters, 2350 Highway 101 South in Greer, SC on Saturday, May 30, from 9:00 a.m to 12:00 noon.—Chris Hennecy
